 My name is Julie, and I am a lover of all things art. If it expresses your soul, it is breathtaking to me! I have OCD and severe anxiety. During extensive therapy I was once asked to color outside the lines. It induced such panic and fear in me, I just couldn't do it. My kids didn't seem to understand why it was so difficult for me to simply scribble on a piece of paper. I began a journey to discover how to accept my own imperfections. Through a lot of trial and error, I discovered Junk Journaling. A junk journal is perfectly imperfect. It is messy yet beautiful, elegant yet chaotic. It allowed me the space to express myself without judgement. A junk journal doesn't have limits or rules, it is intentionally imperfect and meant to allow your soul a safe place for creative expression! I decided I wanted to explore what "Journaling" truly meant. I discovered that journaling has such a wide range of how it can show up. It is expression in all it's beautiful forms! I want to share the joy I found in journaling with the world. I want to show every soul what it truly means to express yourself without judgement or fear. Having a place that is uniquely yours to express all that you are is something exceptional! I hope you will join me in embracing the beautiful imperfect beings that we all are!
